Welcome to this part #8! Wait a minute… eighth? I think it’s amazing after two months we are still receiving proposals from designers who want to show with us their beautiful handmade jewelry.
Today as always we have 10 designers, most are Latin Americans, except for an Indonesian brand which bring us handmade jewelry. Let’s start:
10. Soledad Arte Joyero:
12 years ago ”Soledad Arte Joyero” was created, but its designer has more than 20 years working on designing and creating jewelry in her workshop at home. Their designs are unique and unrepeatable, so their clients can be sure they will use exlusive pieces.
She also collects shells, beach wood, glass and stones polished by the sea, as well as washers or rusted pieces.
Women who appreciate their designs are sensitive to the concept of nature that arises from the combination of different metals, stones and organic materials, which characterizes their jewelry.
The photos below are part of a new collection called, “Las Hojas de Costa Rica”.
9. Accesorios Collete:
‘’Accesorios Collete’’ belongs to Haiskell Delgado, a woman who has a degree in administration. She decided to study goldsmith for 6 years and she is still forming in the sector. She loves to create with different materials, trying to offer a unique style.
The goldsmith allows her to capture an artistic vision to make a piece with leather, laces and recycled plastic.
”Andrews” is a Colombian brand and they are learning, improving gradually the process and manufacture each product they elaborate.
Their pieces are handmade and they use metals such as silver, gold and brass, with gold-plated of 24K. They also use precious and semiprecious stones with other materials such as leather and resin.
Their brand has participated in several events, including the international fashion week in Bogota and a fair at the Embassy of the United States.
7. Cesar Ortiz:
They have exclusive handmade designs with traditional and contemporary materials, without the serial productions. Its jewelry has textures marked as the geography of their country, Chile.
6. Diseños Montilla:
It’s a brand established in 2007 and belongs to the Venezuelan designer Mireya Morales Montilla. It started as a dream of making accessories for vibrant and colorful woman.
They have grown, working with high quality products, such as semi-precious stones, leather, gold plated and silver.
Their vision is to be recognized nationally and internationally to continue showing their jewelry.
5. Joyas Paola Kohen:
10 years ago this brand was founded, when its designer took her first steps in jewelry, because she likes to innovate and experiment with different materials and transform them into real pieces of art. She uses silver and natural stones, keeping the tradition of classic materials used in jewelry, creating new and different pieces.
4. Batik Kawung:
Jewelry made of brass is the specialty of “Batik Kawung”, a brand that comes from Indonesia. Its name means hope for a person who reminds its origin.
The technique used for jewelry is engraved in copper, to form the surface of their pieces.
It is a brand created by the designer Rocio Medeles, originally from Guadalajara – Mexico, which has two product lines; silver jewelry and accessories. For 7 years she creates pieces, from sketch to metal, making every piece look different and exclusive, because she’s inspired by the personal stories of her customers.
The designs are timeless, elegant lines with lots of movement, textures and color contrast, using semi-precious stones, glass, leather, textiles, etc. She is currently making use of new technologies.
The name ”Armenteris” was choosen by its designer, to remember the goddesses of mythology, for their beauty and accessories.
The jewelry of this brand is made by its founder, where she shows her joy, feelings and creativity. She works with semiprecious stones and bronze with gold- plated of 24K.
1. Musa – Siempre Divina:
It is a Peruvian brand, where the work of Natalia Esquerre is based on the creation of handmade jewelry with vanguard designs, using high quality materials such as natural stones, Swarovski elements, silver 950, among others. She’s always trying to enhance the feminine beauty, complementing their outfits with beautiful pieces of jewelry.
